“Everything Exceeded my Expectations!”

I spent 3 days on the ranch in November and everything exceeded my expectation, the hunting was fantastic with a variety of animals. The guides where great to hunt with and knew where to look for whatever you were in search of. Now we will talk about food, I ate the best meat loaf ever there, three selections available axis, sable and sika and they were all great. Would consider going back at the drop of a hat.

Jeff, just wanted to say thank you again for a great weekend. I had a blast, as I know the whole family did and I'm chomping at the bit for this fall to roll around so we can go after a nice stag. Not sure I'll be able to wait that long to get back out there though, so we may have to give the doe hunt another shot before then. I'd like to stay in touch with you and Judy about the stag once their antlers start coming in. Judy was saying they should be out of velvet around September...? I would like first chance at your big boy so whenever we need to start talking about money down, let me know.  Thank you not only for the great hunting but also for your hospitality. We truly feel like part of your family and in my book, that is worth just as much, if not more, than the hunting itself. If you're ever in the Midland area and need anything, please don't hesitate to call. Don't work too hard out there.

“Judy and her family create an experience that's second-to-none.”

My first visit to TDR was with a friend for a father-daughter weekend. We had such a great experience that I brought both of my kids back, along with my father, shortly thereafter. Judy and her family create an experience that's second-to-none, and I got several great trophies including a top ten ram. TDR is more than just a great exotics ranch. What makes this place special are the people and the personal touches they put around each hunt, including education about the animals and herds. This is a place where you can fulfill just about any vision for a great weekend.

You arrive a stranger and leave as family! Our group had a successful turkey hunt. The homemade family style meals were delicious. Try Amber's famous homemade salted cantaloupe and prickly pear jams. The ladies loved the safari ride. The outdoor range does not disappoint! Sit on your front porch and watch the wildlife walk across the open range. Curl up to the fire pit at the end of your day to share the day's adventure.
