The Eastern Tur

or Daghestan Tur is a mountain dwelling caprine

found only in the eastern half of the Greater

Caucasus Mountains. It is sometimes considered

a subspecies of the West Caucasian Tur and

sometimes full species in its own right. The

species is listed Near Threatened by the IUNC.
